Reports to: Demand Generation Manager

Position type and expected hours of work: full time, flexible timetable.

On a daily basis: Monday-Thursday 09.00-18.00 (one-hour lunch break), Fridays 09.00-14.00.

Role Purpose:

Give Rentals United a cohesive voice, ensuring that everywhere we speak to our customers exemplifies our brand voice and values.

You will not only take ownership of crafting a compelling brand narrative and reviewing our existing content to comply with our brand narrative, but also create new SEO focused content to improve our brand presence and grow our audience.

In partnership marketing, you'll manage all marketing actions relating to our partners. This includes communicating major updates, encouraging our clients to connect to core channels, and ensuring we maintain our Preferred Partner status with major channels.

How will you do that?

Content Creation (40%):

Create content (guides, handbooks, one-pagers etc) for lead generation and to support our sales / partnership teams. Always guided by our Brand Narrative and maintaining Rentals United as a thought leader in the industry.

  2. Channel Handbook
  3. Who’s Who PMS
  4. Key Partner promotional material
  5. Blog Posts

Brief and feedback from a freelance copywriter and designer in creating content.

Examples: Update our channel handbook to reflect our current channel partners, create guides with a location or market focus to help clients find the best channels for their properties.

Partnership Marketing (30%):

  • Collaborate with our Partnership and PMS Teams to communicate important updates about channel and PMS partners to our clients. Create engaging resources and execute campaigns to support our key channel partners and help maintain our Preferred Partner status.
  • Examples: Creating co-marketing action with Key Partners, create one-pagers to show how we work in tandem with our PMS partners, create blogs, emails and in-platform pop-ups to support our Preferred Partners.

Website Management (20%):

  • Make sure our website is up-to-date, adding new features and updating messaging to align with our brand narrative. Your SEO knowledge should be applied here in order to guide.
  • Here your responsibility is to keep it up to date but also have organic traffic as one of your main KPI
  • Examples: Create or update feature pages, review core pages to align with our brand voice and key messaging.Partnership

Product Support (10%):

  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing Lead to ensure that all features, updates, and key product messaging align with our brand narrative and core values.

Example: Assist in the creation of key messaging, wording, and slogans for new features, as well as reviewing product resources—such as emails and one-pagers—to ensure consistency with our brand voice.

KPI’s for your role:

  • Hit organic traffic targets

  • Execute all marketing actions required to maintain our Preferred Partner status

What do you bring to the team?

  • Communication and Writing: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to condense complex information into simple, compelling messages. Strong storytelling to craft an engaging and impactful brand narrative.
  • Familiarity with SEO techniques: Solid understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and SEO content creation strategies. Experience with tracking and improving organic performance through analytics tools a plus.
  • Branding and Content Creation: Experience working within and adhering to established brand guidelines. Ability to create content that maintains brand consistency across various platforms and formats (e.g., blogs, social media, email campaigns).
  • Language Proficiency: Native-level English, with strong attention to grammar, tone, and style.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. A proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability to evolving priorities.

Nice to have:

Familiarity with WordPress and HubSpot. Basic understanding of using data and analytics tools like Google Analytics or Ahrefs for keyword research and performance tracking.

SEO Strategy Development:

  • Gain hands-on experience in advanced SEO techniques, such as keyword strategy, content audits, and performance analysis.
  • Develop the ability to create data-driven strategies to increase organic traffic and convert leads more effectively.

Brand Leadership:

  • Strengthen your ability to craft and maintain a cohesive brand voice across multiple platforms and channels.
  • Develop skills in creating and managing a comprehensive brand narrative, becoming the go-to expert for ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Technical Marketing Tools:

  • Build familiarity with tools like WordPress, HubSpot, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics.
  • Develop the ability to use these platforms to track performance, refine strategies, and create data-driven campaigns.

Project Management:

  • Learn to manage complex, multi-faceted projects with tight deadlines.
  • Improve your ability to prioritize tasks, set goals, and measure outcomes effectively.
