Job title: Manual Tester/Quality Assurance Engineer
Form of contract: B2B
Position type and expected work hours: full-time, flexible timetable depending on the team and client’s needs. On a daily basis: Monday-Thursday 09.00-17.00 (40 mins lunch break), Fridays 09.00-15.00. Occasionally overtime can be required due to events, important calls, or meetings which can be compensated with timetable adjustments (i.e. post deploy QA).
Key Responsibilities:
- User Interface manual testing
- API & Back-end testing
- Collaborate with an assigned development team
- Being a part of inter-team knowledge exchange
- Creates tests that identify issues with software before a product launch
- Learning test automation and development
Deliverables/Outcomes:
- prevent any defects that can appear on the platform user interface
- recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
- prevent any defects that can appear on the backend of the platform
- identify and eliminate any mistakes in code before its release
- contribute to developing the SaaS platform
- adapt the most effective way of working
- effective communication with the product owner and programmers
